About us
Spellènko was founded by Henk Jan Gerrits and Jaap de Graaf. Both are big game fans and have played a wide variety of games since their childhood. They met twenty years ago at the Groningen games association Rabenhaupt. Before they founded the company they had already organized several large projects for this association. | Henk Jan Gerrits (1972) is responsible for finance, logistics and game statistics. He studied Economics at the Hanzehogeschool and has worked among others as a planner and office manager for several companies. |
| Jaap de Graaf (1958) is mainly responsible for making up the stories behind the game concepts. He studied at the University of the Arts Constantijn Huygens and has worked over 25 years as director, actor and theater teacher. He has developed creative concepts for different organizations and companies. |  |
Under the name Spellènzo Jaap and Henk Jan organized Noorderspel from 2009 to 2011. Noorderspel is the largest board and card games event of the Northern Netherlands.
